Memory Support

Memory Support encompasses the deterioration of cognitive abilities, such as thinking, reasoning, and remembering, and fulfills or effectuates a unique set of needs. As with Alzheimer’s Disease, the loss of memory interferes with a person’s daily functioning. Memory loss is unusual forgetfulness. It may refer to not remembering new events or recalling one or more memories of the past, or both.  The cause determines whether the amnesia comes on slowly or suddenly and whether it is temporary or permanent. There is a wide range of facilities available to care for people at varying stages of memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease, or dementia.
